I will be enjoying a few days with my family over the Labor Day Holiday. I will be back with any deals I find early next week.

Enjoy your long weekend!

MONEYMAKER ON WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE

Are you planning on buying Heinz Ketchup this week? This is the ONLY ketchup my family will use. I myself have never cared for ketchup so I really don't understand it!

Make sure you use the coupon from the Toss For Cash Book to get a Worcestershire Sauce for FREE. This is a publix coupon so I found another coupon we can stack with it to make it a moneymaker!

Go to frenches.com and register to print a $.30 off coupon. While you are there, print the $.30 off French's Mustard and use with the BOGO sale.

My husband just said to me last night that he needed mustard at work. I pulled my last from my stockpile. Now how's that for timing??

PIRATE AND TREASURE MUSEUM DEAL

Looking for something to do this weekend with the kids? There is a new deal on double take deals you may want to take advantage of.

You can buy two admission tickets to the St. Augustine Pirate and Treasure Museum for $13.75, regularly $27.54. This is one of the world's largest collections of authentic pirate artifacts and interactive exhibits.

Go to www.doubletakedeals.com

While you are there check out the deal for $20 worth of food for $10 at Gypsy Cab!

ETC BOOK UPDATE

Well, here we go again! I have heard from enough of you to order a second set of books. Remember, it will be the Florida Ultimate Edition NOT the Jacksonville book. It won't have restaurant coupons in it but I know we ALL have enough of those!!

Below are the names of the people who will be on the 2nd order of books:

Emily - 2
Nicole - 1
Michelle - 1
Mary Grace - 10
Julie - 1

I am going to charge $17 for these. I know I said $16 to the first group but if everyone wouldn't mind going up $1 just so I can get something for my time to organize, put it on my credit card, and arrange delivery/pick-up times, I would REALLY appreciate it!! Thank you for understanding! :)

WALMART VERSUS PUBLIX

Some of you may notice this flyer WalMart sent out to us to try to entice us into their store. They didn't succeed with me...and I will tell you why.

I don't remember all the prices of all the deals but I do know a few of them and what I paid at Publix. Notice the Fiber One Cereal on the front? I still have about 10 boxes left that I got for FREE. Walmart's price...$2.98. Even if we didn't get another freebie deal, Publix sale price with a coupon would be about $1.20 a box with a MQ and TQ.

Next page Walmart has Progresso Soup for 1.88 a can. I just bought 18 cans of soup for $.50 each within the last month. Dora the Explorer Fruit Snacks are priced at Walmart at $2 each. I got fruit snacks for free from Publix. Let's talk Granola bars also. I paid anywhere from free to about $.30 a box.

Let's move on to Stouffer's Lasagna. Walmart has it on rollback for $5.98. I guess we are supposed to be impressed but I know I paid $3.00 at Publix and I still have two of them in my freezer! Activia Yogurt is priced at $3.48 at Walmart but I only paid $1.00 for it this week at Publix.

On the back page Walmart has Degree Deodorant for $1.97. Now all of us who are serious couponers know that you NEVER pay for deodorant. We just got Suave deodorant for free a few weeks ago and I have also received Degree and Right Guard for free. I have enough deodorant to cover all of St. Augustine's underarms!

Last is the Clorox Disinfecting Wipes. Walmart's rollback price is $4.88.  Well, I got 2 different brands for free, one at Publix and the other at Winn Dixie.

I know there are more items in the flyer that I know we get a better price on such as Old El Paso Dinner Kits, Hamburger Helper, Uncrustables, Cereal, Lays Chips (deal beginning Thursday) and others.

Let's do the math...I think you will agree Publix wins!

CVS MILK DEAL AGAIN

CVS has TG Lee milk for $3.69 but you get a $1 ECB back. Check your binders for the printable TG Lee coupon for $1 which expires 11/23/12. Use that and pay $2.69 and get $1 back.

It's like paying $1.69 for a gallon of milk!

I plan on giving mine to my daughter because her kids drink a ton of milk and my five 1/2 gallons will last me into October! :)

PUBLIX 8/26/12

I took advantage of the Hood milk deal I told you about and stocked up on some more All Laundry Detergent. We are good at our house now for  probably a good year and a half!! I love when I don't have to spend money each week on non-edible items!! This is what I bought:

2 Peanut Butter (used two $1/1 PQ)
Lg. Bag Baby Carrots
Cantelope
4 Hood Milk (these will last me until October with the one I bought yesterday) Used 4 $1/1 MQ)
1 Paul Newman Pizza ($ MQ)
2 Hefty Paper Plates (ordered $1/2 MQ)
5 All Detergent
2 Garnier Styling Products (only $.99 each using MQ and TQ)

Believe it or not my total before coupons was $55. I wanted to run and add 2 more milk to my bill to bring it up to $60 to use two $5/$30, but decided not to push it. My total after coupons and only one $5 WD coupon was $28 which is what my detergent and milk would have cost.

I would have skipped this week altogether but I knew this is probably the last time this year we see Hefty Paper Plates BOGO. We will see Chinet BOGO around the holiday time but I just use those for special occasions!

UPDATE ON NEW COUPON POLICY

Thanks Pat for giving us the heads up on the Vilano Beach store. Apparently Publix has put into effect the new rule of only using one $5/$30 coupon per order or making us split it up. Pat said the Vilano Beach store told her the same thing.

If that is what they want, then so be it. I will have my cart organized to give them $30 at a time and use my $5/$30 coupons one at a time. I just can't imagine the people behind me when they see my order split into three or four orders and then all the coupons to boot! This is going to be fun!

I guess they think it will slow down the use of the coupons but I will still continue to use the same amount and play by the new rules. I will just split my order up. They did this once before and then changed the policy and let us put it all through at one time. I don't know what difference it makes anyway.

It is really going to be a pain when the gas card deal is offered because it will now force you to get your total to $50 instead of $30 to get the gas card and use the WD coupon. Maybe we should tell them we will start using them at WD instead!!

UPDATE ON ETC BOOKS

We filled our quota!! I placed the order for the ETC books. The Jacksonville book is sold out so I had to get the Florida Ultimate Edition. It also includes the WD $5/$30 coupons and also the following:

I have two people on a waiting list...Emily and Nicole. If you decide you don't want your book because we couldn't get the Jacksonville book, let me know. If I continue to get a response from this and we get 12 more people, I will order another set. If anyone on the original list wants another set and we get enough people, we will do this all over again!!!

Thank you everyone so we all can get a good price on these wonderful books!

Beth H - 1
Mary Grace - 4
Judi - 1

Please let me know ASAP if you want to cancel or order more books. I have until Tuesday evening to order more books. Every single city was sold out except Pensacola. I guess they are not on the couponing bandwagon!! The longer we wait, the chances are the Ultimate Book may become sold out as well but at least we got one order in!

AWESOME DEAL ON CRACKERS

In case you didn't see this, go to coupons.com and use zipcode 30303 and print the B2G1 Nabisco Cracker coupon.

Ritz crackers should be BOGO next week so that means we will pay for one box and get 4!!

What a coincedence that my husband just said he needed Ritz Crackers. Thank you Nabisco!

ETC BOOK UPDATE

Time is running out! Only 4 spots left for the Enjoy the City Books at $16 per set. This is the cheapest I have seen them.

The WD coupon doesn't expire until June 2013 so don't wait until you are paying $4 per book when this deal ends!

Contact me ASAP and I will add your name to the list!

GOOD DEAL ON HOOD SIMPLY SMART MILK

I found Hood Simply Smart Milk is on sale this week at Publix for $2.50 each. Use the $1 printable coupon from HERE to get the milk for $1.50 each.

The 1/2 gallon I bought had an expiration date of October 16th. Since I can't wait for the Smart Balance to go on sale, this is the next best deal!

If you didn't get the milk deal last week at CVS, this might be the deal for you.

One more thing...I was able to print 4 coupons from that link. I didn't try to print anymore than 4 so if you need more give it a try and let me know if you got more!

NEW POLICY IN EFFECT????

I needed some retail therapy today and headed up to Jacksonville today with my husband to check out Belk's sale with the extra 40% off reduced prices. I didn't find anything at Belk but hit the honey hole at Dillard's!

I was so excited to find Not Your Daughters Jeans on clearance at Dillard's. I bought a pair of jeans, size 10 (YIPEE!!!!) and a pair of white capris for $39!! These normally sell for close to $100 a pair! I was very lucky to find them and they still have several styles left to choose from. I walked out with a big smile on my face knowing I just bought my favorite jeans and saved a ton of money.

On the way home we stopped at the SR 16 Publix so I could get my first haul of All Laundry detergent. I bought 7 of them and plan on going back to get 7 more. My total was $50 so I told him to add on 4 Hefty Paper Plates to bring my total up to $60 so I could use two $5/$30 coupons. I was told that they could only accept one and I would have to split my order. They took it that time but further orders will have to be split.

Really?? Don't they understand that we are going to use the coupons regardless of splitting the orders. All it is going to do is slow down their lines. Cobblestone still has not told me that so that means I will be doing my shopping now at Cobblestone instead of SR 16.

Let me know what you encounter when you go to the store. I would like to post so everyone knows what policies are in place at what stores!

UPDATE ON ETC BOOKS

I have a total of 9 people so far that are interested in a set of the books. They are as follows:

2 - Jessica B.
1 - Kris Lynch
1 - Cindy B.
2 - Cristina
1 - Kathleen D. (possibly 2 if needed)
1 - Carol W.
1 - Lisa V.

Thank you everyone. I'm hope we make it to 14!!

DO WE WANT TO ORDER BOOKS AGAIN?

There is another deal out there for Enjoy the City books with the WD $5/$30 coupon in it. I have been asked to see if there are enough people out there to put together another deal.

This time I am going to do it a little differently. I am looking for 14 people to buy 10 books each at a cost of $16. If you would like to get in on this deal, please email me or contact me asap. If I can get enough people, I will do it again!

I just ask if you secure a group of books that you follow through, pay for them and pick them up. I ended up with a couple sets of books last time that I was able to get rid of but when you put out $800 it is a little scary!

Email me at judiray56@yahoo.com or call me at 540-5225 and let me know if you want to do it. If we don't get 14 people, we will not be able to go forward with it.

I will post the names as I get them to keep you informed if we can get the books.

THANK YOU COUPON FAIRY!

I totally forgot to post this! A big THANK YOU to my coupon fairy, whoever you are! I came home the other day to an envelope.

I promptly pulled out the diaper coupons and mailed them to my daughter and was thrilled to see the ziplock bag coupons because I got a raincheck! I still have to go through them but I just wanted to say thank you very much to whoever is sending them!

RITA'S ICE CREAM

I have been forgetting to post this! Many of us have the Enjoy the City books and simply use the WD $5/$30 coupons. Before my daughter left to go to college, she wanted to go to Rita's at the beach. Wait! I have a coupon for that!

I only had one spoonful but I have to tell you that their soft custard is to die for! I have never had anything taste so rich and creamy! I guess I am used to McDonald's ice cream cones!

I would recommend going there before the summer ends and using your coupon and try it. You won't be disappointed!

STEP AWAY FROM THE SUGAR SNAP PEAS!

What the heck!! I can't believe what I just figured out! As many of you know, I am trying to follow Weight Watchers and started watching what I eat and have lost about 25 lbs. Recently I have been getting up very early in the morning to go walking. I have walked for about 3 weeks faithfully and have seen the scale only move just slightly. I am continuing to eat the same way, counting my points, and eating my vegetables which include mostly sugar snap peas. You read in the last post I just bought 4 more bags to replenish my supply.

Now when I eat sugar snap peas, I just don't eat a half of a cup which is a serving. No...I eat the whole darn bag! I figured I can't get fat eating vegetables! Well, guess what I just found out tonight as I was eating my last few peas off my plate! I looked it up in the WW book and found out I have been consuming about 6 points by eating the whole bag! Now mind you, I have been counting it as zero so adding another 6 points to my daily total is HUGE! The book said 2/3 of a cup was one point. I basically have been maintaining and not losing and now I think this may be a major reason why!! I eat these peas at least 4 days a week. If you figure eating 32 points instead of 26 points, that is a major difference!!

I say this because I just about rolled on the floor laughing when I found out (now 5 months into it) and just had to share! If any of you are on Weight Watchers, STEP AWAY FROM THE SUGAR SNAP PEAS!!!

PUBLIX 8/19/12, SAVED 63%

I didn't intend on doing much of anything this week at Publix even though my refrigerator looks completly empty since it all went down my garbage disposal. By the way, I learned the hard way never to do that again. That little episode cost me $125 and the appliance repairman cost $125 so I was down $250 within a couple of hours!

The deal that pulled me to Publix today was the Oscar Mayer Deli Meat deal. My husband and I make sandwiches for lunch about 3-4 days a week. We can go through some deli meat. New MQ's surfaced today and when stacked with the PQ and the current sale, you paid $2.99 for a lb. of deli meat. My choice was the Rotisserie Chicken and Smoked Turkey Breast. Getting free cookies wasn't bad either although I didn't intend to keep them.  I called my daughter Lindsay (who had now been gone a full 24 hours after moving her back to college yesterday), and asked her what kind of cookie would she like since I can get them for free. “Mom, I don’t want any cookies” was her response. Of course, her two roommates were within earshot and quickly told her cookies would be welcome and to get the Chips Ahoy Chewy! I was able to get a second Stocking Up book from my father so I had two $1/1 coupons! This is what I bought:

4 Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers ( I am addicted to the Sugar Snap Peas)

4 Oscar Mayer Deli Meat

2 Pepperidge Farm Jingos Crackers (who could resist at $.50 each!)

3 Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix

2 Chips Ahoy Cookies

Bananas

Cantelope

Worchestshire Sauce (great buy at $.69)

Jello Pudding Mix

2 Tostitos Salsa

My total for the above after all coupons was $23.76. The deli meat is on sale for $4.99 so I would have paid $20 just for the meat and now I am set for the next couple of months!

I

CHEAP LIPSTICK AT PUBLIX

Make sure you look in todays Parade Magazine insert for coupons for CoverGirl. Remember, there is still the $1 Publix coupon you can stack with it to get inexpensive lip color!

$2.50/1 Covergirl Outlast LipColor product

$2.50/1 Covergirl Lipperfection Lipcolor Blast Flipstick or Outlast Lip Stain

I bought the lip gloss stick and paid something like $1.50 each. I love this stuff and was happy to pay that price.

MY LOUSY WEEK

What else bad can happen?? It started with my air conditioning a few weeks ago. My husband came home from work to a house that felt like it was 120 degrees! After a call to an air conditioning repairman, the problem was fixed but we found out that we don't have much time left on the unit...oh, and guess what? Not only do you have to replace the outside unit but you have to replace the inside one at the same time.

Let's move on to the roof. An inspector came by from the insurance company and found a few loose shingles. We had to have the roof inspected and were told if we did not have 5 years left on the roof we would have to replace it to keep our insurance. Well, we have 3 - 5 years left so now we are waiting to hear from the insurance company.

Go forward a few days and now the refrigerator has issues. It started spiking up in temperature and not cooling in the refrigerator at all. I moved some stuff out in the outside refrig but still lost a lot. Tonight I was cleaning it out getting ready for the appliance repair man coming tomorrow and put stuff down the garbage disposal. Now we have a plugged sink! When we pulled everything out from under the sink, we found that the connection into the wall was loose as well as another connection and it was slightly leaking! Now I have to call a plumber!

Oh...let's not forget to mention my daughters car that had to go in today for an oil change but came out needing brakes! That bill was $180!!

I think it is a safe assumption to say that I worked this week for nothing!!

But the good news is I found a coupon online for Rotor Rooter for $20!! :)

TOSS FOR CASH BOOK

I found the new Toss For Cash book at the beach Publix tonight. I think it has also been reported at another store and I am not sure if it is the Moultrie store or the Cobblestone store. Stop by and pick up a few. This book in the past has had some good deals in it!

STEINMART COUPONS

My phone and internet have not been working so it feels so good to be back on the computer. It went down over the weekend and Comcast could not come out until this morning. It's a good thing it is not a good week for me at Publix because I wasn't able to access my computer to print any coupons I needed for the next ad. I think I will just take a week off and just buy my fruits and veggies at the fruit stand!

Steinmart has some good deals going on right now. If you are headed to Jax stop by and use the coupons and score an extra 40% off any red dot item or 20% off any Home or Sale item. The coupons were sent to me via email but I would check with them first to see if you even need them. I have gone into Steinmart and not needed my coupons at all. I just used my green card and they scanned it and gave me the discounts.

I have my eye on a pair of Not Your Daughters Jeans Capris that were originally $49.99 (which is a GREAT price), marked down 30% and then an additional 40% off that! I would get them for $21 a pair!  Now I just have to figure out how to get there to use the coupon!

They also have quilts on sale for $49.99 for queen and $59.99 for king. Just look at those pictures! Don't they look yummy!!

CLEARANCE ITEMS AT JC PENNEY

Are you looking for some good deals on summer clothes? Head to JC Penney and check them out.

Our store didn't have much in the girls department I could buy but I found these adorable shortalls for my grandson for just $3 each! They also had toddler size shorts and t-shirts for $2 and $3 each.

I also was able to pick up a few things for myself for $8 to $10 each that will carry me over into the fall. The happy report is that I was able to buy a size 10 and a medium instead of size 14 and XL!! Yipee!! It's taking time but slowly and surely it is coming off!

If you are up in Jacksonville, head to the Penneys there and I am sure you will find some great deals!

CVS DIAPER DEAL

If you have young babies and are in need of diapers, here is a deal at CVS for you this week. Hopefully you have some ECB's to roll from previous weeks.

Buy $30 worth of selected products and receive $10 ECB. Buy 3 Huggies Diapers and 1 box Kleenex. Your total will be $29.97. The register will still print an ECB even if you are a little short of $30. Use three $1.50/1 coupons for the Huggies from the 8/12 SS and pay $19.47 plus tax OOP but get back $10 in ECB's. If you have ECB's from previous weeks, your total will be even lower!

Factoring in the $10 you get back, that is like paying $3.15 per box of diapers and you get a bonus box of kleenex!

CVS AND WISK DEAL

If you don't use your $2 Wisk coupon you received yesterday in the paper at Publix this week, you can do a deal at CVS providing you have ECB's to bring down your OOP. Even if you don't, after you receive $10 ECB, you will only end up spending $1.32 on each of them.

Buy 6 Wisk Liquid Detergent 32 loads $4.99 each

Use 6 $2/1 Wisk Coupons (RP 8/12)

Get a $10 ECB

$1.32 each after coupons & ECB

CVS will likely run out quickly of Wisk. Make sure you get a raincheck. Then you can order coupons from a coupon clipping service and do the deal whenever you have ECB's that are getting ready to expire and you have to use them!

PEELIES SPOTTED

Dunkin Donuts Coffee is on sale for $6.49 a bag. I saw peelies on the bags for $2 off. If this is your preferred brand of coffee pick some up for $4.49 a bag. I don't care for coffee so I am not sure if this is a good price for this brand. I just remember paying anywhere from $1.95 to $2.50 a bag for 8 O'Clock coffee with a sale and coupons.

Pair the coffee with the Bailey's Coffee Creamer and pay just $.50 when you use the hang-tag coupon on the creamer or look in the 8/5 SS!

MY PUBLIX BRAG SPOT 8/12/12, SPENT $28.71

I really goofed when I did my shopping trip today. Have you ever grabbed 10 of one item only to realize when you look at your receipt when you have left the store that some of the items were not the item you wanted?

I grabbed 10 Suave Deodorant that were BOGO. Somehow four Secret deodorants made their way into my cart instead of the Suave and they were $2.89 each. Someone must have put them back in the wrong spot and I didn't check each of them. Now instead of getting free deodorant I am paying $12.31 for it...and that is just for four of them!!! I had to come close of another Publix doing my errands so I stopped by and they gave me a credit on my credit card. This is what I bought:

3- 4-pk. Activia Yogurt
1 Large Breakstone Cottege Cheese
4 Motts Fruit Snacks
4 Motts Fruit Juice
12 boxes Quaker Granola Bars
Fresh Asparagus
Cherries
Honeydew
Bananas
Jennie-O Turkey Sausage
3 Pringles Fat-Free Potato Chips (added to list because I received a text from my husband to get)
3 V-8 Spicy Tomato Juice
10 Suave Deodorant (after I switched out the Secret!)
4 Suave Body Wash
8 Ziplock Sandwich Bags (used RC)
6 Sundown Vitamins (overage)
2 Papermate Pens
2 Wisk Detergent

My total before coupons was something like $127. I used four $5/$30 coupons and after my adjustment for the deodorant I paid $28.71 for all of the above.

The fruit and vegetables, V-8 Juice, and 3 potato chips which I was buying anyway totalled $28.24 so basically I got everything else for FREE. Turkey sausage, deodorant, body wash, ziplock bags, 2 detergent, fruit juice and snacks, 3 yogurt, cottege cheese and 12 boxes of granola bars...NOT BAD!! Who says it doesn't pay to coupon??

With all of the granola bars and juices I have accumulated, I will be able to help my daughters get started for the school year as well!

WALGREENS RAINCHECK DIAPER DEAL

Sorry for the lack of posts, but I have been so busy!! It doesn't seem that it is going to get any better this next week also. I am working four days and then moving my daughter back to college (along with her awesome stockpile) on Saturday. Think of me as I walk up three flights of stairs (yes, no elevator) to her dorm room. I will definitely get my exercise that day!

If any of you got a raincheck for the Walgreens pull-up diapers last week (or was it 2 weeks ago??), like I did, there will be a $1.50 coupon in this weekends paper. The coupon is for Huggies Diapers. It doesn't specifically say Pull-On Diapers. I am not an expert in diapers so it will be up to the discretion of the cashier at Walgreens if she will take it.

They were on sale for $9.49. Use the $1.50 coupon mentioned above plus the $5 off coupon from the August coupon book and pay just $3 for a bag of diapers!

NEW BOOKLET SPOTTED

Stouffer’s Family Size Entree, 28 to 40 oz, $3.99 (limit 4)
I found this new book at the Cobblestone Publix today. It has two pages full of Publix coupons.

I did notice one that will go well with the new ad beginning tomorrow.

Stouffer’s Family Size Entree, 28 to 40 oz, $3.99 (limit 4)
Stouffer’s Family Size Entree, 28 to 40 oz, $3.99 (limit 4).

There is a $1 PQ in this new booklet so a family size Stouffer's Lasagna will be $3. You can't make it yourself for that price! Grab a few books and grab a few lasagna and throw them in your freezer!

I never thought I would eat frozen lasagna (my grandmother would roll over in her grave!) but it actually isn't that bad!

FREE FACIAL SOAP

When I was in Publix today picking up a few things I noticed the Kiss My Face Soap on sale for $2.99 each. Use the $3 coupon from HERE and use them to bring up your total to get to $30, $60, $90 etc. to use your ETC $5/$30 coupon. If you find yourself short, throw a few of these in and use for gift baskets for Christmas.

Who wouldn't love a gift basket filled with all the stuff we get for free or cheap!! Dental Floss, Shampoo/Conditioner, Razors, Body Wash, Advil, Mouthwash, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, etc. The list goes on and on!!

Remember to hit the minus button until it goes down to a small size. It will then allow you to print as many as you want.

MY CVS RUN

I was disappointed again when I went into CVS today because they were still out of Clear Tone Dove Deodorant. I grabbed a raincheck last time so I guess I will get this deal next week.

I was able to do the Simple Face Wash/Facial Wipes deal.

I bought 1 Face Wash and 2 Face Wipes and used one $1.50/1 and a $3/2 coupon to pay 1.63 OOP including tax and got back a $5 ECB! I am excited to try these products!

CHEAP PEANUT BUTTER

Looks like cheap Peanut Butter will be in our future!

Planters Peanut Butter, 16.3 oz,  will be 2/$4. Use the $1/1 from the 6/24 SS and pay just $1 each jar. What a perfect time to stock up on Peanut Butter for the back-to-school lunches!

Pair that deal with the FREE Granola Bars and that makes a great start to stock for back-to-school!

QUAKER INSTANT OATMEAL COUPON

When I was over at Target.com printing my $1/1 ALL Laundry Detergent, I noticed a $1/2 coupon for Quaker Breakfast items. One of the items pictured is Quaker Instant Oatmeal.

This is the time of year we will see the cereal deals and probably a Quaker BOGO sale. This is always a family favorite around our house with Raisen, Walnut and Date being my number one choice.

Print this coupon now and how for a sale. The expiration date is 9/8/12 so my bet is we are going to see a BOGO sale before then. I think the coupon will go fast and will be pulled so be ready like me and print yours now!

MUSCADINE GRAPES

Laura S. emailed me to tell me she bought an awesome deal from Living Social. Here is her email:

Hey Judi!! There's a great deal on Living Social I thought you might be interested in. $20 for ten pounds of muscadine grapes that you can go pick yourself!! It's at Mitillini Vineyard in Live Oak. Eric and I got our passes today!

Thanks Laura for sharing with everyone!

CVS 5/5/12, SPENT $.89

My trip to CVS today was a somewhat of a success. I was able to get 6 bottles of Dove Shampoo/ Conditioner using my $5 ECB, three $3/2 from 7/29 RP, and a $5 off wyb $15 in beauty items from magic coupon machine. I had to throw in a $1 bag of Doritos in order to use all the above coupons.

My net OOP was $.89 and I got back a $5 ECB to replace the one I used!

I wanted to do the deal with the Dove deodorant but they were sold out at the two stores I went to. I was able to get a raincheck for both the shampoo, conditioner and deodorant because I bought the last of the shampoo and conditioner.

This is Lindsay's favorite shampoo and conditioner so I was happy to pay $.89 for all of it!

I still have another $5 ECB to use and I was going to do the Fiber One Brownies and Fiber One Bars deal. I decided not to do it because it would mean I would have to eat them all (3 pts. each on WW) and didn't know if I could do it before they expired. I guess I will hold out for next week or use my raincheck from the shampoo deal above and do that one again with my raincheck!!

COLEMAN MATTRESS COMPANY

My father saved a Jacksonville newspaper for me with an article on counterfeit coupons. Before I even got to that article another article caught my attention. It was regarding mattresses.

In case you don't know, the mark-up in mattresses is outrageous. A typical tempurpedic mattress costs about $800 and they sell it for $4,000 and up! When I read this article about a local mattress company in Jacksonville, it grabbed my attention.

Coleman Mattress is a second generation mattress maker. Initially they built mattress components for other manufacturers and then starting builing mattresses for commercial accounts such as CSX, Jacksonville University and Baptist Hospital. In 1982 they started providing mattresses to the public with prices that are far below retail.

A Coleman mattress is handmade, not mass produced. This ensures better quality components and workmanship so customers get high-quality mattresses at much lower prices. They offer about 30 models including foam, innerspring, memory foam and latex. They can do any style, any size, and any shape. They can do bunk bed to king and everthing in between and will also cut foam to size.

Coleman can also do a two-sided mattress. If you have been mattress shopping you will notice you cannot find two-sided mattresses anymore. I think the whole thing about a one-sided mattress was done because when you can't flip it, it will not have the life expectancy of a two-sided mattress.

The best part about this company is that they offer high -quality mattresses at about half the price of retail stores.  Knowing the mark-up of mattresses, this company sounds like it offers an excellent quality for a respectable price.

They are located at 4809 N. Main St. in Jacksonville. Their phone number is 904-356-6103. They are open 10 - 5 Monday - Friday and 10 - 3 on Saturday.

I know I am keeping this one in the back of my brain for when I need a new mattress!

MAMA FU'S COUPON

I knew I was going to Jax yesterday and eating at my all time favorite Mama Fu's so I went to their website the night before. I joined their E-Club and the next morning a Buy One Entree, Get One Free coupon was in my email! Even though it is in PDF form and can print multiples you can only use it one time.

Go HERE and join their E-Club (tab at the top) and then watch for your coupon to hit your email between 12 - 48 hours! Mine expired on 8/16 so you have a little time to use it! My favorite and only thing I get there is Pad Thai! Yum!

FOUND SOME GOOD DEALS!

I was heading  to Jax today to spend some much needed shopping time with a good friend. We were meeting in the Bealls Outlet parking lot and she called me and said she was going to be late. No worries! I'll just step in Bealls Outlet and wait for you.

I found the deal of the century in there! I found a $220 italian leather purse with the retail price still on it. It was priced at Bealls Outlet for a mere $99, quite a bargain for a $220 leather purse. But as fate would have it there was a pink circle on it which meant it was 70% off! To top it off I was able to use the 15% for 49 years and younger. (OK...you caught me! I use my daughters card on Friday to get the discount!) and then I had a gift card for $15 so my final OOP was $9.61!! They had one left so head on over if you want one!

The purse feels like butter and has one strap and a zipper on the outside which is a requirement when I buy purses! I fell right into the honey hole and wasn't even trying!

I also found Not Your Daughter Jeans (2 pair) in the clearance section in a size 14 and 16 for about $15 a pair! I can't remember the exact price but they were real cheap. If you are not familiar with these jeans you need to try a pair on! They are awesome! They reguarly sell for about $100 a pair. If these are your size I would run there and pick them up!

Then we headed to Jax and I was on the hunt for sandles. I have a hard time because most flip flops are not comfortable. I was able to find a cute pair of Tahari sandles for $25 and another pair reduced to $8. On top of that it was tax free so I was one lucky girl!

Go HERE to print your coupon for $10 off a $50 purchase at Kirkland's. This coupon is good only Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

GREAT DEAL ON PROGRESSIVE SOUP

I have been so busy working that I have not had time to post anything!  Before work this morning, I stopped at Walgreens at the beach and the shelf was cleared of the pull-on diapers. I did, however, get a raincheck.

I then had just enough time to run into the Beach Publix to see if they had any of the Running In Running Out coupons for the Progresso soup. It was just my luck that they had taken down the display and didn't have any left. Tonight my daughter wanted to go to Michaels so I went with her. I ran into the Cobblestone Publix and was thrilled to find the Progresso Soup coupon! It was such a good deal and my husband likes to have the soup for days at work when he doesn't want much.

I was able to get 18 cans of soup, 6 bananas and a cantelope for $5.31!! The soup has an expiration date of 2014! Even if you don't have the $1/4 MQ from HERE, pairing the $1 PQ with the sale of $1.50 each, you will pay only $.50 per can. As you could see, I brought my total up to just over $30 so I could use my $5 off $30 coupon as well!

I think Friday is the last day for the coupon. If you want to stock up on this soup, head over tomorrow!
