SOME OF THE RECENT SHOPPING TRIPS IN PICTURES!

My husband suggested I put on some of the pictures I take and show to the class and put them on the blog so people can "see" the deals I get. So, with that being said, here are a few of them.

HOMEMADE LAUNDRY DETERGENT

For those of you who wanted the homemade laundry detergent, here it is. It only costs about $.03 per load and gets your clothes just as clean.

1/3 bar Fels Naptha Soap
1/2 cup Arm & Hammer Washing Soda
1/2 cup 20 Mule Team Borax

Grate the soap and put in a saucepan. Add 6 cups water and heat it until the soap melts. Add the washing soda and the borax and stir until it is dissolved. Remove from the heat. Pour 4 cups hot water into the bucket. Now add your soap mixture and stir. Add 1 gallon plus 6 cups of water and stir. Let the soap mixture sit for 24 hours and it will gel. Stir well and use 1/2 cup per load

CVS TRIP

So after my awsome Publix trip, I stopped for a quick trip to CVS. I bought:

1 Complete Multi-Purpose Contact Solution
1 Listerine Mouthwash
1 Crest Toothpaste, twin pack
1 Bic Soleil Razors
1 Paper
1 Bag Bows
2 pkgs Tags
1 Tissue Paper

OOP -- $1.58 and still have ECB's to roll into next week! How can you NOT do it??

SOMETIMES I AM STILL SO AMAZED!!

While shopping this morning at Publix, I ran into someone I knew and he said "Shopping with those coupons? I saw the article in the paper about you". Of course, I answered "Yes" and went on my merry way. Little did I know he was 2 people behind me in the checkout lane (bad move on his part!) When the cashier gave me my total of $2.14, I heard a voice from 2 people back..."You go girl, I am coming to that coupon class!"This is what I got:

1 Prime Rib Roast (yes, I did say Prime Rib!!)

4 cans diced tomatoes
4 Juicy Juice
3 All Detergent
2 Benefiber
1 Cover Girl Powder
4 Tweezers
1 pkg Nail Files
8 pkgs Rolaids
4 pkgs Sudafed Triple Action
1 Pkg Popcorn Chicken for $3.69

The prime rib alone was $26.37!! I think I will go back and do some of this deal again!! I can see another prime rib in my future!!

3 INSERTS THIS WEEK IN SUNDAY'S PAPER

There will be 3 inserts in this weekends paper, December 13th. They will be Smart Source, Red Plum and General Mills. Make sure you get at least 2 copies of the coupon inserts!

I FORGOT...THE WALGREENS DEAL WAS EVEN SWEETER!!

I forgot to mention that I also sent in for a rebate in the amount of $6.99 for the Just for Men Haircolor. I would call that a good transaction!! I think I will go back and do that one again!!
