SMART BALANCE MILK AND EXPIRATION DATE

We don't drink much milk here at our house so I prefer to buy Smart Balance milk because of its LONG expiration date. I really prefer to get it for $1 a 1/2 gallon with coupons and a sale! My husband is one that if the date says April 8, 2014, he is throwing it in the trash. You cannot always go by those dates. My Smart Balance milk is dated April 8th and I was still able to use it this morning! I keep waiting for it to start turning and it has not yet! So for those of you that stick right by the date this is proof that you can't always do that! I am going to check and use it everyday for my oatmeal. I can't wait to see just how far it will last past that date!
