MY PUBLIX TRIP 3/4/13

I didn't really need anything at Publix this week but wanted to take advantage of the Angel Soft toilet paper deal and the frosted mini wheat/free milk deal. I had to throw on a bag of $.50 peanuts to make my total just go over $50 so I could use two $5/$25 save-a-lot coupons. This is what I bought: 4 triple rolls Angel Soft toilet paper 3 Frosted Mini Wheats Crunch Cereal 3 Chobani Greek Yogurt 1 cake mix 1 cream cheese frosting 1 gallon mild Bananas Blueberries 4 Oscar Mayer Turkey Breast (used RC) My total after coupons was $22.50. I didn't think that was bad considering the toilet paper alone was $20 (sale price). Since the gas card deal is next week, I wanted to save all my deals until then to get as many gas cards as I could!!

MY PUBLIX SHOW AND TELL

I wanted to post my Publix Brag Spot that I did on the last day of the sale on Wednesday. I ran into a slight glitch when the SR 16 store wouldn't take the Save-A-Lot coupons. I had a pre-coupon total of $53 so I had to switch gears and use only one $5/$30 WD coupon. Had I known that, I would have increased my total by $7 and used another $5/$30 coupon. I was able to stock up on cereal and was able to get 7 more Cascadian Farms Granola Bars for just $.24 a box. This is what I bought:

7 Cascadian Farms Granola Bars
$3.00 worth of FREE bananas
Hormel Cinnamon Apples
2 Hormel Mac & Cheese

2 Cover Girl Blush
1 Sundown Vitamin (overage)

I was planning on spending $4.46 for this order but was only able to use one $5/$30 so I paid $9.48 for all of the above. Still not bad... it's a savings of 88%!!

MY PUBLIX SHOPPING TRIP

My shopping trip at Publix today was pretty good considering they were out some of the deals I wanted.. I wanted to use the B3G1 free stuffers coupon with the target 1.25 coupon and pay just about $1.75 each. I didn't have any freezer room left so I had to settle for just two of them using the $1.50 coupon that is no longer available and stack with the 1.25 target coupon to pay $1.25 each. I have a rain check so maybe I can free up some freezer space before the target coupons expire!

I was able to get my ten boxes of granola fruit crisps that came free when you bought the Nutrigrain Bars with the rain check they gave me.  With that being said this is what I bought today:

1 dozen eggs
Blueberries
Bananas ( free web 2 cereal)
3 cantelope (yes, I LOVE cantelope)
4 Morningstar farms spicy black bean burgers
2 hormel mashed potato sides
2 progresso bread crumbs
10 progresso black beans
Baby carrots
2 hefty paper plates
2 Golden  Grahams cereal
2 spicy nuts (I grabbed these at the last minute because I was .77 short of $60)

After my coupons and the $17.50 they had to take off for my granola bars, I paid $2.37. My total was just over $60 so I used two $5/$30 coupons also.

Three times this week my husband asked me if I got Cocoa Puffs for him. Wouldn't you know it, the shelves were bare. I went up to CS to get a rain check and they checked their computer and they had some in the back! I used a $1/2 coupon but forgot to give them the coupon for $1.50 off bananas! I hate when that happens! My husband was happy to have his cocoa puffs!

UPDATE

When I was putting my Cocoa Puffs away, a bottle of olive oil fell on my toe! It's twice the normal size and all black and blue. Boy does it hurt! Damm those Cocoa Puffs!

PUBLIX 12/21/12

Oh my gosh!! That is all I have to say after today's shopping trip to Publix. I really didn't need anything. My freezer is full and all I needed were some apples for an apple salad I am making Sunday night. There were so many freebies this week I couldn't stay away!

A couple got behind me in line and I told them they might want to get in another line because I had a lot of coupons...and boy did I have a lot of coupons! They said they were couponers themselves and wanted to stay and watch. And so they did. This is what I bought:

My bill before the coupons was $176 and my total after coupons was just $.57. Need I say more! I had overage on so many items and got so many items for free!

It always seems to me this time of year before we get great Christmas deals

PUBLIX 12/18/12

I found 2 more raviolli coupons for $1/1 and I wanted to use them to take advantage of the BOGO sale. We had them last night for dinner and they are really good! Of course, I couldn't go in and just buy that. I had the $5/$30 Target coupon burning a hole in my pocket and I was determined to use it. Not only did I get to use one, but I got to use two! This is what I bought:

12 cans Cream of Mushroom or Chicken soup
6 Frosting Creations
6 Stir-ins for frosting above
Butterscotch Morsels
4 Greek Yogurt
2 Monteray Raviolli
Bananas
10 Vitamins

I couldn't have planned it more perfectly. My total before coupons was $79. My total OOP after coupons was $.23!! Woop! Woop!
