LOOK FOR THIS TO SWEETEN CVS DIAPER DEAL
Do you remember the CVS Huggies Diaper Deal I mentioned earlier in these posts? Well, here is something else to make this sweeter! I scanned my card today, and I received a CRT for $4 off wyb Huggies wipes and diapers. This will be a great deal when you pair this $4 CRT with The $2/1 wipes coupon and $2/1 diaper coupon. Now my biggest decision will be which size diaper to buy!

STEWARTS PRODUCE 9/2 - 9/5
If you have not shopped at Stewarts Produce Market on Anastasia Blvd., they have deals that start on Thursday and go until Saturday. This weeks deals are as follows:
Boneless Rib-Eye Steaks, $6.99 lb.
Extra Lean Ground Chuck, $2.99 lb.
Sushi Grade Tuna Steaks, $6.99 lb.
5 lb bag Russet Potatoes $1.49 a bag
Sweet Large Cantaloupes, $1.00 each
3 lb. bag onions, $1.49 a bag
I will say Stewarts has the BEST ground chuck I have ever had! I like to buy it fresh and make my hamburgers but it also freezes well. The price on onions, potatoes, and cantelopes are also a great deal this week!

NO COUPON INSERTS THIS SUNDAY, 9/5 AND A LESSON LEARNED

I am still coming to grips with my freezer defrosting! I caught it on Tuesday after I lost everything on my door and top shelf. All my bagged Steamfresh Meals, veggies, pizza, ice cream (including those Fat Boy Ice Cream Sandwiches I just bought)....all gone! I started cooking like a crazy woman! Last night we had 3 huge steaks for 2 people!
The good part was I wasn't terribly upset. As I threw out the TGIF wings, egg rolls, waffles, guacamole, etc., I knew I got all of those for free. Let this be a lesson to all of you with freezers out there. Apparently, one of the vents got blocked in the back of the freezer causing it to freeze over which then caused it to shut down. As soon as I emptied it and let it sit, I was able to fill it back up within 24 hours. It is very difficult in my freezer to not block a vent because of where it is placed. It is also very difficult not to "buy" some things when I get them free or for pennies on the dollar. But it is not worth losing everything in my freezer that I did pay full price for like my poultry, steaks, roasts, etc. Let this be a lesson to all of us and put things on the freezer door that you wouldn't care if you lost them. The door and the top shelf are always the first to defrost! Make sure you leave air space!!

NEW COUPON POLICY
It has been brought to my attention that Publix will no longer be accepting ECB's and RR's. That is OK...we all know the great deals we get at the drugstores rolling these from week to week. If you can't find anything to use them on and they are expiring, you can always buy eggs, milk or even your Sunday extra newspaper!
