Good Housekeeping listed their Anti-Aging Awards in the September issue. I was all over this because who doesn't not want to look their best and find the best products.
They tested all products including professional, drugstore and supermarket brands. Below is a list of their findings. You will be surprised at some of the results.
Best Shampoo and Conditioner
GOLD WINNER - Pureology Nanoworks Shampoo and Conditioner $53 (avail. at salons)
This is definitely spluge-worthy! Both Pureology and Biolage received perfect scores for wet combing in detangling and protecting strands from further damage. This bottle is designed to lsat for about 80 shampoos due to its concentrated formula.
SILVER WINNER -BIOLAGE REJUVANTHERAPIE AGE REFUVENTATING SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER (whew! that was a mouthful!) $18 & $19 respectively at salons) This came in as a close second. This is more wallet friendly and testers loved how clean and fresh-smelling it was and how hair felt silky after it dried.
Deep Conditioner
GOLD WINNER - AGE BEAUTIFUL INTENSE STRENGTHENING TREATMENT $10 (Sally Beauty Supply)
This received top marks in both lab and consumer testing
SILVER WINNER - Redken Time Reset Youth Revitalizer $17 (salons)
