ONLY USE ONE $5/$30 COUPON?

I went to the Publix at Cobblestone today and for the first time today was told I couldn't use two $5/$30 WD coupons. My total was just over $60...$61.30 to be exact. He said I could only use a publix coupon and a competitor coupon. That's it.

I told him I would have split my order and he kind of motioned like it was already all rung up. Instead of using two WD coupons I used one and added a $3/$25 Publix coupon.

Is this a sign of things to come? I don't know...but a word to the wise. Ask first and be prepared to split your order

  1. My PX Store on Southside will not let me use more than one PX $x.xx coupon. It varies from store to store 'cause the store my brother goes to allows him to use more than one in a single transaction

  2. Where did you get the $3/$25 publix coupon from?

  3. According to their website, they allow competitor coupons but follow what the coupon states. Winn Dixie's coupon states on the bottom that you can only use one per transaction. I'm not sure how you've been able to use more than one all this time. Guess you've been going to a Publix that doesn't read the coupon. Lucky!

  4. I only shop at the Cobblestone Publix. And I really think it depends on the cashier. You really have to pick your person/people that you check out with. :) I went in yesterday and the lady used two of the Winn Dixie coupons. I even asked her before I handed them to her. Some of them just don't like dealing with coupons at all......

  5. I go to the Moultrie Publixand I've been able to use three winn dixie's in one transaction. Just the other day--a couple of weeks ago, one of the back office girls was helping with bagging my groceries and the cashier didn't think I could use all three, she asked the back office girl and she said as long as she hits the total. I had over $90, so she said I could use the three 5/30 wd coupons. I guess it just depends on who you get..."cashier profiling" or maybe this is something new...dundundun lol!!

  6. The $3/$25 coupon was in a book I found at the front desk one day. It was something for Mothers Day. I can't remember the name of it. I only saw it that one time at one store and never saw it again!
