WAX KITS CHEAP AT WALGREENS

I had to laugh when I got an email from Kate about the Sally Hansen Wax Deal at Walgreens below. The last line just cracked me up!! Thanks Kate!

There is a Sally Hansen Wax Kit $2/1 MQ on coupons.com (zip 32080). It can be combined with a Walgreen's Instant Value Coupon(IVC) for a Sally Hansen Hair Removal item $2/1 SQ for a great deal:

Sally Hansen Hair Remover Wax Strip Kit for Face, Brows & Bikini

2/$8.98 or 1/$5.99

Use $2/1 MQ x 2 (coupons.com,zip 32080)

Plus $2/1 SQ x 2 (Walgreens IVC - you really only need to present one coupon to receive the $4 off the two boxes, so save the printer ink, or just pick up the June booklet in the store)

Pay .98 for two! + .54 tax = 1.52 total

The kits are located in the body lotion section, fyi.

Bring on the pain!

I also received an email from Kate about a great deal at Target and Shutterfly. Hopefully you won't have to drop $100 to get this deal! Here is her email and deal:

I received a nice surprise from Target and Shutterfly Wednesday. I spent $114 at Target(gulp), and a FREE 8x8 Shutterfly photo book catalina printed out($29.99 value). These photo books are often offered for free online or via email, but it's an added treat if you have some Target shopping to do. Not sure what triggered it, but it could have been the large amount of money I dropped in about 10.5 seconds.

Thanks again Kate for sharing with us! We all appreciate it.

I am going to run back to Wags tomorrow to get some bikini wax and then listen for the screams!

The catalina states it's for new customers only, but I entered the code into my existing account and was credited. Offer ends 6/28/12. Just in time for Dad's Day!

FREE ECOTRIN

My daughter asked me if I would go out for ice cream with her at 8:45 pm. Really, that is the last thing I wanted to do but I went on one condition...could we stop at Walgreens.

I ran in Walgreens and picked up two boxes of Ecotrin Low Dose Aspirin. My husband takes this everyday. They are on sale for $1.50 and there is a $1.50 coupon in the 5/6 RP. FREE after coupon PLUS you get back a $2 RR!!!

Free aspirin and a $2 RR. I guess I'm jumping  back in the Walgreens game!

ASK FOR A NEW RAINCHECK

So the question is "How did I get so many razors"?

I had three rainchecks for the BOGO Bic Razors from a month ago. The raincheck was about to expire and they did not have enough for me to fill my order so they issued me another raincheck good for another 30 days!

Attach your coupons to that raincheck and if they still don't have your item in stock by the time the coupon expires, they will honor your coupon up to 30 days or until the item you want comes in.

I know the RC says good for 30 days, but I have been able to use a RC past that date. It all depends on your cashier and your store. It is always worth a try. If they won't take it I just put the items back!

What I was really hoping for was a gas card deal to do in conjunction with the free razors! Darn it! That just didn't happen!

PUBLIX 5/27/12

My Publix shopping trip today was just awesome! Because they are now only allowing one $5/$30 coupon per order, I split my order into three transactions. It required me to write down which items went together so I didn't mess up. In the end, it was all worth it.

It was pouring rain when I got home so I didn't take a picture. It took all I had to get it in and not get too soaked! I also had  rainchecks for the Bic Razors. I was only able to get some and bought all they had but will go back to another store tomorrow before work and see if I could get the rest. This is what I bought:

My first order consisted of:

2 half-gallons Breyers ice cream
10 Kotex
2 Olay Cleansers

After using a $5/$30, a MQ and PQ for the kotex and Olay, and MQ and TQ for ice cream, my total was ($.67). I ran and grabbed a pack of gum to bring my total up to a whopping $.58!! Whoppie!!! It felt like the old days!

My next transaction was:

4 Bic Razors (used RC)
2 Vanity Fair Napkins
4 Mahatma Rice
2 Cool Whip
2 Jello Refrig. Pudding
8 Bushs Baked Beans

Used 4 $3 Bic coupons, $1 MQ for napkins, 2 $.50/1 for Cool Whip, 2-$1.10/1 for Pudding, $4-$1.50/1 for Beans and $5/$30.

My total was $4.80. The funny thing is I went to grab some beans yesterday and I was down to one can of Bushs Beans. Perfect timing.

My last order was:

10 Bic Razors (used RC)
2 Lil' Drumstick Ice Cream
Fresh Pineapple (used the $2 off fresh fruit from Mom's Booklet) Only paid $.99 for pineapple

My total was $3.09!! $2.16 of that was tax!!

My total for ALL of the above was $8.47. I was able to use three $5/$30 coupons, stocked myself up on beans and razors and will use the last two Olay Cleansers I bought to submit for a $10 rebate. I am actually going to submit for two $10 rebates (in two different names)!!

I still have another raincheck for 10 Bic razors and another with 6 razors. I am going to stop at the Beach store tomorrow before work and do the following deal:

1st Transaction

WINN DIXIE 5/27

I ran into Winn Dixie to get some FREE OceanSpray Juice  and a few other things. I had a raincheck for a FREE CoverGirl Olay Ageless Makeup that I  paid for previously when they were BOGO and they only had one. I figured I would work that into my scenerio so I could use a $5/$30 actually at Winn Dixie!

I bought:

8 OceanSpray Juice
2 Baby Carrots
1/2 lb. white american cheese
2 Hormel Chili with beans
CoverGirl Makeup

Since the makeup was $14.99 and then it was deducted with the raincheck, I got a good boost towards my $30 total. I got all the juice for free as well as the makeup. I ended up paying  $4.89 for all the above!

The cashier was examining my BOGO coupons and had to call someone over. The started looking at the coupons and I said "They are not copied coupons. I told the front end manager last week how to spot a copied coupon" That was all I had to say. She said "Oh that was you!" The manager had a meeting with all the cashiers and gave them the specifics on how to spot a copied coupon. They know me in there now. I don't know if that is a good or bad thing!

They are not used to couponers in there so go easy on them!

I am also able to submit two rebate forms for $10 each with various items purchased that qualify, the makeup being one of them. There is a limit fof one per address so I will send one in in my fathers name!

TEARPAD SPOTTED AT WINN DIXIE

If you go to the Winn Dixie at SR 207, look in the produce department for a tearpad for "Save $1 on Fresh Produce wyb Two Kraft Dressing". The best part is the expiration date on these are 3/31/2013!

If you are in Winn Dixie stop by and get this tearpad. If Kraft dressing goes BOGO and you are going to buy it anyways, you will get some free produce!

I found it on one of the center tables that holds fruit and veggies.

PUBLIX 5/21

Today wasn't my best Publix trip. In fact, I think it rates up there with one of the mediocre trips.

I had to buy certain ingredients for new recipes I am trying so that was an added expense I won't have for some time again. For example, the two seasonings I had to buy totalled just over $5.00 by themselves. My daughter requested the Doritos so I gladly paid $1.15 a bag instead of the usual $4.29 per bag.

This is what I got:

2 Doritos
2 Lloyds BBQ (great for my husband to take to work)
Romaine Lettuce
Bananas
Ginger Root
Corn
Ricotta Cheese
Tortilla wraps
Adoba Seasoning
Tropical Sazon Seasoning
International Coffee Creamer
Can of Mushrooms
2 Olay Facial Cleanser
2 Sominex (overage)

My total before coupons was $48 and after my coupons it was $25 exactly! Again, I took the opportunity to pay $2 each for the Olay cleanser. This is the time I stock up at that price.

It's hard to believe that the little bit in the picture was $48. It was hard to believe it all came to $25!! That is not what I am used to paying. But again, I needed specific ingredients for recipes so I bit the bullet. It's still not bad considering that is the only shopping I will be doing this week!

MY CVS TRIP 5/20

As many of you know I have two cards so I did this in two transactions using two different cards. I was thrilled to see something of value to roll my $8.99 ECB's into. Since I had two of them, one from each card, I was happy to see Irish Spring Soap (my husbands personal favorite) on sale and giving a $4 ECB.I bought the last three so I had to substitute an Irish Spring Body Wash for a soap.

I had to change up my plan slightly once I got in there because they did not have any of the Cottonelle toilet paper boxes for $1.99 (giving $1.99 ECB), so I picked up the Dial Body Lotion for Men on clearance 75% off for $1.62. They are located in the rear part of the store on a rolling rack by the end of the makeup at the beach store.

I was able to get all the above and pay $2.90 OOP and get back $11.74 in ECB's!!

FLORIDA TIMES UNION SUBSCRIPTION

I got an e-mail from Laura S. today about a deal the Florida Times Union is running. There is a thin flyer inside that says "Celebrate Cinco de Mayo" with savings. I wonder if they know May 5th is long gone!!

The deal is for the Sunday paper for only $5 per month ($25 for 5 months) of the Sunday paper delivery only.

You can call 904-359-4255 or visit online at http://jacksonville.com/cinco.

Thanks Laura! I just got a St. Augustine Record today because my Times Union subscription expired. I will be signing up for this one!

BETTER DEAL ON IRISH SPRING SOAP OR BODY WASH

Months ago I told you about a flyer that was in CVS right by the weekly ads. I grabbed four of those flyers and just saved them. The coupons didn't expire until 5/30 and I knew I would be able to use a few of them because they were all CVS coupons.

If you have one of those flyers, there is a $1/1 Irish Spring Body Wash or Bar Soap store coupon to stack with the $.50/1 coupon from the 5/20 SS.

Then you can do the following deal:

2 IRISH SPRING BAR SOAP (6 PK) OR BODY WASH - 2/$7
Use 2 $.50/1 5/20 SS
Use 2 $1/1 CVS coupon from above
TOTAL OOP $4
GET BACK $4 ECB
=FREE!!

If you already have ECB's like I do, the deal will even be better!

CAMPING

Camping is our hobby. We came across it by accident. Five years ago, we ran into some friends in HomeGoods in Jacksonville. Yes, my husband was with me there. I bribed him by telling him we could go to Wasabi for lunch if I could go into HomeGoods. Little did we know going into HomeGoods that day would introduce us to camping.

If you would have told me five years ago that I would love camping, I would have told you that you were crazy!

Like I said earlier, we ran into old friends in HomeGoods. They had mentioned that they were going to rent a pop-up camper and go to the Keys for a week and asked if we were interested in going. All I heard was "The Keys". If I had listened more carefully, I would have heard the word "pop-up".

We ended up having a great time and both of us came back and bought campers. They bought a pop-up and we bought a hybrid travel trailer because it was what our truck could pull and I wanted a microwave, refrigerator, upholstered sofa and bathroom!!

It has been five years now and we have been to Stone Mountain Georgia, Charleston North Carolina, Savannah Georgia and every campground around our area. My favorites are Wekiwa Springs and Kelly Park near Orlando, Fort Clinch, and Sebastian Inlet in Melbourne. The best has to be Fort DeSoto in St. Pete. That is where we just camped. Floating in the Gulf of Mexico on a raft is the most relaxing and enjoyable thing. Watching the sunset each evening was awesome as well.

The best part of St. Pete and Fort DeSoto is a place called Mazzaro's. Once you go there it keeps calling you back! I have never seen or will see a place like this anywhere else. It is an old italian deli, market, bakery, you name it! The food is awesome! We went back three times and then stopped on our way out-of-town to pick up some homemade raviollis, homemade pasta, the best bread you will ever taste, cheeses, meatballs, and a Hot Italian sandwich and burger to go.

I have NEVER in my life had a hamburger as good as this place had. It's like they grind up a prime steak and call it a hamburger. I wanted to go back and buy some of the ground meat they use but we had already left and got on the road.

I am already planning another trip in September to go back again. Anybody want any awesome desserts or homemade pasta, the best crunchiest bread or rolls, I'll take orders and bring it back!

So what about you? Do you camp and where do you go? I would love to hear from you (especially couponlynn) and find out about the best places in our area to camp!

Oh, and by the way, I made my husband stop at three different Publix stores to see if I could find any booklets. I did find the Running In Running Out Sheet!

BOGO MILKBITE COUPON

I don't know if any of you have tried these but my daughter loves them. When I was able to get them for $.75 a box, I stocked up. It's a great thing just to throw in your purse when you want a snack. Go HERE and print a BOGO COUPON from Cooking with Kraft. There is also a $.75 MQ to go with it from coupons.com.

Use one BOGO coupon and two MQ's and you should be able to get these pretty cheap!

While you are on the Cooking with Kraft site, print some of the other good coupons there as well!

PAULA'S CHOICE PRODUCTS

Hello Everyone! I'm back from camping. We had fun but encountered some rainy weather while we were there. The first two days were overcast which was fine. The third day was beautiful and we floated in the Gulf. The next day it rained all day and night. Everything was soaked and we decided to pick up and come home a day early.

I came home to my box of Paula's Choice Sunscreen. I love this stuff so I thought I would tell you about it.

I have been using this for quite some time now. I use it every day as my moisturizer on my face. The bonus is it has SPF 15 in it. I feel good that even in the days that I am just running around I have SPF on my face and I don't even know it.

This is the time of year to get it too! Paula's Choice is offering a special now with free shipping and 50% off select items. I was thrilled to see my product I use on the 50% off list. I ordered two bottles for a grand total of $12.72. I plan on ordering the SPF 30 to use as a lotion on my arms and legs. The product has no scent so it is perfect to use as a moisturizer but give you some sunblock protection.

Go HERE and place your order. You may want to check out her other products as well. She is known for simple packaging, good prices, and no-nonsense ingredients.

MONEY SAVING TIP - FREEZE IT!

So, you have really gotten into couponing, right? But are there some things that you are passing on because you are afraid of them spoiling? Well, worry no more... here is a brief list of a few things you can freeze and how long they can be frozen!

•Avocados (YES! You can freeze them, so stock up when they are on sale!)

Just cut the ripe avocado in half and remove the pit wrap each half in cling wrap (or vacuum seal, if you can) and then place them in a freezer bag. Thaw them out over night and you have ripe avocados for guacamole, salsa, salads and sandwiches. Will keep in the freezer for 3-6 Months!

•Cheese Just toss the package of chees in your freezer and it will last about 2 months. Thawed cheese tends to be crumbly, but is still great for salads, cooking, grilled cheeses, etc..

•Liquid Non-Dairy Creamer Ok, you can't freeze this one, BUT it will last up to 9 months in the fridge! So stock up, but if you are like me, you don't have a fridge big enough for a 9 month supply of coffee creamer...

•Eggs Sounds weird, huh? You can freeze eggs for up to a YEAR, just not in the shell. To freeze them, just crack them open, drop them on a bowl and if you are going to use them for savory dishes, break the yolk and genlty mix in 1/2 tsp of salt per cup of raw eggs. If you plan of using them for baking, use one tbsp of sugar per cup of eggs. The freeze in a freezer bag or air tight container.

•Margarine To freeze, wrap tightly in foil or place in a freezer bag. Lasts up to a year.

•Milk That's right, you can freeze milk. It does expand when it freezes so make sure you leave room. You can freeze it in it's original container, just remove about a cup and a half to allow for expansion. It will last about 3 months in the freezer. It can go longer, but it can pick up the other flavors of your freezer. The other thing to keep in mind is that when you freeze milk, the fat seperates so you will need to shake before drinking. If you aren't crazy about drinking it that way, you can still use it for cooking and baking.

That's just a very small list of items you can freeze. I hope this helps in your savings journey! Keep on couponing!

A LITTLE VACATION

When you read this I will be relaxing at Fort DeSoto Campground in St. Pete. I will be returning next weekend bringing you any new deals I find!

POSSIBLE BOGO COFFEE SOON?

Is the Eight O'Clock Coffee BOGO deal coming soon? I don't know...but the $2/2 coupon has appeared and maybe a blinkie will appear also.

If it goes like it has in the past, once the coupon appears Eight O'Clock Coffee will be BOGO soon.

I would print yours now and let's wait for a sale!

Go HERE to get your coupon.

I am guessing this coffee is about $6 each. At least that is what it was the last time I bought it! I think coffee prices may have gone up a little since I paid $2 a bag!

MY WINN DIXIE EXPERIENCE

I had to laugh today when I went into Winn Dixie. Here I am at the checkout with 3 dozen eggs, a pork butt, and Milk Bite Bars. That's it. Nothing else. All I had were two $1/1 coupons for the Milk Bite Bars.

The cashier rang up my purchases and then called a manager over when it was time to take off my coupons. OK...a little strange, but we are at Winn Dixie! I asked her if there was a problem with my TWO COUPONS! She said she was afraid to take them because they have had so many problems with photocopied coupons.

I then proceeded to give her the tips on how to tell if it is a photocopied coupon, By the time I was done, she happily scanned my TWO coupons to give me the big $2 off. By that time the front end manager came over and she told her she didn't need her because I told her how to tell if they were photocopied. She looked at me and said "Tell me. I want to know this!"

I proceeded to tell her about the numbers on the coupon, the shading in the box, the numbers on the coupon connecting it to your IP address, etc. She told me every month she gets a report on how many dollars worth of coupons are turned in and how many dollars the store is credited. She said her report said something like $650 were turned in and they were only going to get credit for $400. Are you kidding!!! Only $650!! I can do that myself in the month!

Some lady had come in the store with several Purina coupon for $3 and bought individual cans and got overage. Now all of us who get overage absorb it into the other groceries. But she didn't. She said the coupon was obviously photocopied but didn't want to put up a stink with the customer. They couldn't give her cash back but gave her WD gift cards. She said she lost $200 in that one transaction. After that they started examining coupons more carefully. Not wanting to insult the customer she took them.

Fast forward to my two coupons! The cashiers must be scared out of their minds to take them after that. She was so happy and was going to give her cashiers a lesson on coupon fraud.

They would be blown away if they saw the number of coupons we hand the cashiers at Publix. I believe it would shut them down! They wouldn't know what to do if all of us serious couponers converged on them! Thank goodness Publix is not like that. But let that be a lesson to all of us. Please make sure you use your coupons correctly.

OLAY FACIAL CLEANSER

I was able to buy four Olay facial cleansers today using the $1.50 coupon in the Green Adv. Flyer and the $3/2 in the 4/29 PG.

This is the time of year to stock up on your facial cleanser. They ring up $4.99 each but after coupons you will pay only $1.99 each.

Don't wait until the end of the green adv. flyer or you may not get yours!

ONLY USE ONE $5/$30 COUPON?

I went to the Publix at Cobblestone today and for the first time today was told I couldn't use two $5/$30 WD coupons. My total was just over $60...$61.30 to be exact. He said I could only use a publix coupon and a competitor coupon. That's it.

I told him I would have split my order and he kind of motioned like it was already all rung up. Instead of using two WD coupons I used one and added a $3/$25 Publix coupon.

Is this a sign of things to come? I don't know...but a word to the wise. Ask first and be prepared to split your order

I was able to buy mine at the CVS at SR 16. They had tons left in four flavors. Head over that way if you are having a hard time finding them.

They are located at the back of the store under where it says "Health"

ADULT UNDERGARMENTS AT WALGREENS

When I was in Walgreens at the beach the other day, I noticed a cart in the middle of the isle by the photo department that was filled with Walgreens brand "Depends" adult undergarments. I don't know anything about these products so I don't know if you would want to be brand specific.

The price on them was $3.49. That sounds like a good price to me! If you or know of anyone who uses these, pass along the word to get that good buy!

MY PUBLIX SHOW AND TELL 5/9/12

My Publix trip today was more about non-grocery items than food. My sister mailed me a $2 Publix Bounty coupon that I was able to stack with a $.25 MQ. The sale price on the Bounty paper towels was $7.49. Subtract the coupons and I paid $5.24 each. Since I bought 4 of them, I was able to use my $5/$30 coupon to pay only $3.99 per 6 pack of paper towels! That is definitely a stock-up price! This is what I bought today:

1 Home Squeezed Orange Juice
7 Pepsi Next (Free plus overage) (Donate Item)
Fresh Pole Beans
Watermelon Chunks
Papaya Chunks
Publix Organic Pizza
4 Beech Nut Fruities (Donate Item)
3 Activia Yogurt
2 2000 Flushes
3 Gain Laundry Detergent
4 Lg. Packs Bounty Paper Towels.

My total before coupons was $90.31. My total after was $46.28 but I did not have my bounty paper towels coupons with me. They arrived in the mail after I got home from Publix.  After I get the $8 back, I will have spent $38.28 on the above. I was able to use three $5/$30 WD coupons as well!

CHEAP OLAY FACIAL CLEANSERS

UPDATE ON OLAY FACIAL CLEANSERS

When I was in Publix today I checked out the Olay Cleansers. I picked up the Regenerist cleanser and walked up to the front just to make sure and did a price check. I was right!!! It was $6.99 regular price but with the sale it will ring up $4.49. Buy two for $8.98 and use the $3/2 from the 4/29 PG  and pay only $3 each!

This is my stock-up price. These usually go on sale about 2 times a year at this price. I usually get enough to last me so I don't have to pay regular price!

GOOD HAIRDRYER

Are you looking for a good hairdryer?

I was surfing the web today and came across the consumer reports review for this hairdryer. What I thought was very interesting is that they say it outperformed the T3 hairdryer. That is the dryer I have and I LOVE it. When I say LOVE IT I mean if it broke tomorrow I would run out and buy another...and yes it is expensive but worth every penny.

Below is the report written by Consumer Reports. I am tempted to try this hairdryer because my daughter keeps stealing mine. I might just try this and give it to her as a cheaper alternative. When I read the reviews, most were positive, but there were a few from professional hairdressers who say this in no way compares to a T3. For about $20, I think I would be willing to try it.

The 1,875-watt Revlon RV544 Tourmaline Ionic hair dryer incorporates two of the most talked-about hair-dryer features -- tourmaline gems and ionic technology -- for a low price. Reviewers say these technologies dry hair faster while causing less damage than ordinary dryers, but most good tourmaline dryers cost $200 or more. In a 2007 Good Housekeeping magazine test, the Revlon hair dryer outperformed the more expensive T3 Tourmaline Professional Featherweight (*Est. $150) , and it was quieter, too. Consumers praise this Revlon hair dryer for being very lightweight and for short drying times. Some, however, complain that the buttons are poorly placed, causing them to turn the machine off several times in the middle of drying. Others say that it may be too powerful for fine hair.

Good Housekeeping compares the Revlon RV544 with two other popular but expensive tourmaline hair dryers. User reviews at Amazon.com, TotalBeauty.com, MakeupAlley.com and Drugstore.com also provide a view of consumer experience.

Now my question is...does anyone have this hair dryer? I think I will be on the  hunt for it!!

$7/1 TENA PADS COUPON

OK...this is one you want to request now as the coupon will go quickly! Right now you can go to the Tena Twist website and give them your email address to get a $7/1 Tena Pad coupon via snail mail.

I guess they learned their lesson because the last time they offered this coupon it was in PDF form. I remember Laura S. got SEVERAL of them and made a good amount of overage! I am going to submit different addresses from my multiple computers!

Make sure you do this deal at Publix because you will get the overage. If you go to Target, they will adjust the coupon down.

MY PUBLIX SHOW AND TELL 5/7/12

My Publix trip today was short and sweet. I wanted the foil pans and pepsi but both were out-of-stock just as I suspected. That's what happens when you go after the weekend! I bought:

7 Starbucks Refresh (Lindsay snatched one from the photo)
4 Green Chilis
1 Eggbeaters
2 Tombstone Pizzas
Bananas
2 Oscar Mayer Smoked Ham
4 Sundown Vitamins (overage)
Pole Beans
2 Activia Yogurt
6 Hormel Complete for Kids (donation item)
2 Breakstone Sour Cream
Bag of Red Potatoes
Loaf of Bread

I realized after I got home that I put one too many of the Starbucks in my cart because I only had 6 FREE coupons. Oh well, at least my daughter liked them! My total was $20.31 but should have been $18.32. I didn't think that was that bad because my bread and potatoes were $6.38 alone!

I still have to make one more trip because I forgot my Smart Balance Milk raincheck. Also my daughter is mailing me $2 Bounty Paper Towel coupons. This is the time I buy my paper towels. They are on sale for $7.50 (reg. $10.99) and I will use a $2 PQ and a $.25 MQ. Paying between $5 and $5.50 is my target price for a big package of paper towels. The way we go through paper towels, I have to buy them at this price!

PUBLIX 5/2/12

I just found my receipt for my 5/2/12 Publix trip and I wanted to post it because, if I say so myself, I think I did pretty good! I bought:

4 Purina Beneful Dog Food (overage)
2 Publix pre-packaged deli Turkey
Romaine Lettuce
Bananas
10 Bic Razors

My total was $12.93. I paid it but realized something was wrong. I stepped away from the register only to realize the pre-packaged Publix turkey I bought did NOT include the hickory smoked variety. I went right up to the customer service desk, exchanged it for the honey roasted turkey and was issued a refund of $6.19. My total OOP was then $6.74.

The valuable lesson here is if you think something is not right, it usually isn't! Always check your recipt. I have learned that valuable lesson lately!

Not bad considering the razors sell for $5.79 each and the turkey for $6.19 each!

BABY ANDERSON

Isn't he beautiful? I couldn't help myself and had to post the newest picture of my 6 month old grandson Anderson. I just had to share! Who doesn't love a baby! Just look at those green eyes... just like my daughter.

MY RAINCHECK AND HAWAIIAN TROPIC DEAL

WOO HOO!!! I am excited about this deal! A little while back Publix had Hawaiian Tropic Suncare 50% off. They were out of the Shimmer Effects so I got a raincheck. The rep was there and gave me $2 coupons.

Fast forward to now. Target just released a $1 off Hawaiian Tropic Suncare. When I pair this with my raincheck and MQ, I will only pay $1.00 for a bottle of suntan lotion!

That is why I try to get a raincheck for items that are out-of-stock. I bought several during the sale at $2 each and gave them to my daughter. Now that summer is here I sure could use some more sunblock and paying $1 per bottle is exactly what I want to pay!.

MY CVS DEALS

I ran to CVS this morning to roll my ECB's. I had two $5 and two $2. The scenerio I had planned was perfect. I also needed a newspaper so I did the following with two different cards:

Buy Childrens Allegra 9.99
Use $5/1
Use $5 ECB
Pay $0
Get back $5

I also did the Cottonelle Toilet Paper deal with the roll inside a cute round box. I did it once and paid with a $2 ECB and paid $.34 OOP. I then got back another $1.99. I went back and got another and used that ECB to pay for the second. You can do this a total of four times as long as they are in separate transactions and you will get another $1.99 ECB back!

For a total of $2.22 (including my newspaper), I got 2 Childrens Allegra, 3 Cottonelle toilet paper rolls in the cute box and a newspaper. I then received $16 back in ECB's!!

FREE GOOD-N-NATURAL ENERGY BAR

Here’s a hot printable coupon that is available this morning. Today’s newspaper inserts feature a hot coupon for a FREE Good ‘n Natural Energy Bar, but you can also print the same coupon at home too and get two more prints per computer! Act fast, because this one will be gone quickly!

FREE Good ‘n Natural Energy Bar printable coupon HERE

TARGET CATALINA TO USE AT PUBLIX

I have been to Target several times over the past few weeks to pick up random deals. I can't pass up $.24 tweezers (those darn chin hairs!!), $.52 aluminum foil, $16 for two packages of Food Saver Bags (normally $20 each), and cheap Merona and Mossimo camis and t-shirts. All of these were done using Target coupons. Oh, and don't forget the Magnum Ice Cream Bars...YUM!!! All I can say is these are very decadent and delicious!

A couple times at the register I received a catalina for $5/$25 and $5/$50 grocery purchase. I have no idea what triggered it. Sometimes I got it, sometimes I didn't. I also heard from Kate who had the same experience as I did. She did not know what trigerred the catalina.

With that being said, be on the lookout for a catalina printing when you go to Target!

NEW STOCKING SPREE BOOKLET

The Publix Stocking Spree booklet is back! These coupon booklets contain savings on products from Kraft Foods, PepsiCo and P&G. They are Publix store coupons, so they can be matched with manufacturer's coupons. The part moms like the best is the $5/1 box of Pampers which is usually included. It pairs very well with the $1.50/1 MQ found on coupons.com(zip code 32080). According to the site, if you've received previous booklets, one will be mailed to you without having to sign up again.

If you haven't, head over HERE to request yours! They usually take a few weeks to arrive in your mailbox. It doesn't appear there are any bonus coupons for signing up friends this time...we usually get to enjoy a $2/1 produce or something!

I received this in my inbox this morning. I guess Outback is trying to get us to skip Mexican on Saturday night and go there instead!

Go HERE to get a $5 off two entrees at Outback. It has my email address but I think it is still OK to use it!

Enjoy!!

2000 FLUSHES

Thanks to Kate for this tip.

2000 Flushes is BOGO this week and there is a $1/1 coupon in the 4/15 SS. This should make them $.75.

Thanks for the tip Kate and thanks for contributing to help all of us save money!

PRINTING COUPONS

Really? You can't believe what I found out when printing coupons. How long have I been doing this? Over 4 years and I just found this out.

When you go to coupons.com to print your coupons and you select and print, I just found a shortcut for printing the 2nd print. Normally you would go back and go to the last page and check the coupons and print again.

Now all I did was hit my back browser after printing the first set. When it comes up to the coupons.com page again, just hit PRINT! You don't have to check them off again. They will just print.

I don't know about you, but this just made my life so much easier!

75% OFF DEALS

Ok...here are a few more deals I saw when I was out and about today!

I stopped at CVS at Cobblestone and found by the make-up on an end cap the following items all marked 75% off. ALL of these will make for a fantastic deal when paired with the MQ.

Phillips Norelco Electric Shaver - $14.00
Use $10/1 coupon HERE
Pay just $4 plus tax!

Clairol Nice & Easy Hair Color - $3.14
Use $2/1 or $5/2 from 4/29 PG
Awesome price on hair color
(they had three different colors for brown hair)

Depends - $3.34
(check to see if you still have the $2 printable that was available)

UPDATE:  I CALLED MY DAUGHTER TODAY ONLY TO FIND OUT SHE WENT OUT THIS MORNING TO BUY HER HUSBAND AN ELECTRIC NORELCO RAZOR!  IT TURNS OUT HE HAS INGROWN HAIRS IN HIS CHIN AND THIS WILL HELP. I THEN CALLED MY FATHER WHO SAID TO PICK HIM UP ONE AS WELL.   SO...BOTH OF THEM ARE GONE!  I CHECKED THE BEACH STORE AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY.

MY TOTAL FOR BOTH WITH TAX WAS $11.25. RETAIL WOULD HAVE BEEN $125.06 FOR TWO!

SOME WINN DIXIE DEALS I FOUND

I was looking at the new Winn Dixie ad and I thought I would tell you some of the deals I am going to pick up.

Eggs, 18 ct. - $1.99 (you will pay this price for a dozen)
Fresh Pineapple - $2.99
Deli American Cheese - $4.99 lb. (Use $1/1 any cheese from coupons.com) = $3.99
Ocean Spray Juice Cocktail is BOGO - Use BOGO coupon that is no longer available and get them for FREE. I hope you printed this one when it was available.

Also, all Cover Girl blush, concealers, face products or foundations, are BOGO. Use two $1/1 coupons from the 4/29 PG and you should be able to get a good deal.

If you do get a few of these, you should be able to bring your total up to $30 to use the $5/$30 WD coupon. Imagine that...using a WD coupon at Winn Dixie!

UPDATE: The Ocean Spray Juice is not a match. Darn It!!!

MY BIC RAZOR SCENERIO

Today I received yet another envelope from my coupon fairy and again I say THANK YOU!

I promptly cut out the Beneful dog food coupons that will give you overage and plan on going to Publix tomorrow to do this deal:

Buy 10 Bic Razors = $28.95
Buy 4 Beneful Dog Food = $11.58

TOTAL $40.53

Use 10 $2/1 Bic Razor q's
Use 4 2/1 Dog Food MQ's
Use 4 $2/1 Publix Dog Food
Use $5/$30 WD q

TOTAL IN OVERAGE $.47 which will go towards my tax

OR

Buy 8 Bic Razors
Buy 4 Beneful Dog Food
Use the above coupons and have $2.26 overage to go towards my tax.

I guess I will just have to see how many razors are left to buy. The dog food will go in the donation pile and the razors will go in my already overflowing Publix bag. It seems like we get razors free a couple times a year so we have to take advantage of it when we can!
